(From Top, Clockwise) Ceramic Blue//Rose Poudre//Mint For Life

I love the Maybelline nail varnishes, they are such good quality for a cheaper product and there are a great selection of colours to choose from. The formula glides onto your nails perfectly and the brush is just the right size to give precision application. 2 coats of the product covers brilliantly, with some darker colours you only need 1 coat. The product lasts from around 3 – 5 days on my nails – with no chipping, not quite the 7 days that Maybelline claim. Read about my 3 Spring favourites below.

615 Mint For Life – The colour of this polish is a very light mint green that resembles the Essie shade, Mint Candy Apple. I’m definitely going to be wearing this shade a lot this Summer. It will look amazing with a white textured pieces, like the Topshop skirt from my previous post.

130 Rose Poudre – This brownish pinky/purple colour is the perfect shade for everyday wear. It’s a great nude colour that will suit any skintone. This shade is so flattering, and enhances your natural nail colour. I wear it all the time (I’m actually wearing it right now as I type this).

610 Ceramic Blue – A powdery blue shade that looks great with a tan. This shade is the most gorgeous light blue that I own. It’s actually a perfect shade for either Summer or Winter. The shade looks as though it’s a little shimmery in the bottle, but this does not transfer to the nails.

You can currently pick up these nail polishes from around £4.00; Boots usually have a 3 for 2 deal on all Maybelline products, so you may be able to get 3 for just £8.00.
